Never fear, the 240SX is here! - November 18th, 2013
Swoosh! A wild update appears!
I got 100% in Road Trip Adventure and rofl devil tires are just the silliest things ever. My little 240SX has 3000 bhp, zero fuel consumption, and infinite grip so it might be time to start a new file if I want to play it again.
But before I forget, I should probably say that there will be downtime beginning December 1st as my host moves. Downtime will probably be for about a week, but it could be shorter or longer depending on if there's issues setting up the internet at the new place or not though
Aside from that, enjoy the update and I'll be moseying on back soon with more soon!

Grocery Lists - November 12th, 2013
I am so bad at remembering what I was supposed to buy, let alone remembering to bring the list I wrote
Always having to mosey over to the convenience store and paying a dollar more for whatever I forgot. The woes of lil ol me. Also I drew/coloured that Deku assassin I was talking about the other day
Not much to babble about today, so toodles for now everyone!

Rememberance Day ;n; - November 11th, 2013
Your irregularally scheduled update
Today was a bit of a crummy day because the weather was terrible on an already solemn holiday, so it kinda bums you out. So I'll take this moment to babble about something positive!
I was trapped on 1d4chan for about 10 hours in the last 24 hours because that place is hilarious and yet somehow still informative. I learned even more about 40k's Orks and just how incredibly amazing they are, and browsed through their homebrew stuff that could actually be almost called completed, and though I've dabbled with their F-Zero RPG, this time I decided to learn their Zelda RPG and for kicks I made a fun little Deku Assassin sheet
Unrelated, Road Trip Adventure on PS2 (Known in Japan as Choro HQ2) is an amazing game and I want to replay it but I already beat it so recently... If only I could erase my memory so I could be mesmerized by it once again ;u;

The bane of 4:3 - November 8th, 2013
Finally no more stretching because who doesn't have a widescreen monitor nowadays
My video card settings were being a dick and setting itself to full screen instead of aspect ratio so old games stuck in 4:3 looked like crap when stretched to 16:9, but YAH HAH I remembered my cheap monitor does actually have settings on it so I switched scaling from GPU to Display and fiddled around until I found Full Screen settings and changed it from "Full" to "Aspect" and bam I can play old games without killing my eyes.
If anyone cares, I've been playing "No One Lives Forever" for now
And with that, it's time for me to mosey on, I might have an update tomorrow or might not, I've got stuff to do during the day and I have D&D at night, we'll see how it goes. Toodles for now!
Interesting Fact: Some women choose to have more male than female friends in attempt to avoid excessive drama and unwanted stress
Everyone should buy Gran Turismo 6 - November 7th, 2013
That way I'll have people to play it with ;u;
Allow me to take a moment to babble about something completely unrelated to my comic for a while because cars are awesome and I like to talk about them, but since I have no one who actually cares about cars, I'll just talk at YOU!
I don't know about anyone else but I have a soft spot for the VW Beetle. Not the old 30 bhp one, the New Beetle and the current 2013/2014 "Volkswagen Beetle" ones. I imagine Beetle Adventure Racing for N64 and "Punch Buggy!!" are to blame, but alas, I still like these uncool cars with their stupid FF drivetrain.
Though I got a New Beetle RSi in GT5 recently and been having barrels of fun with it since it's 4WD, and let's be honest, front wheel drive is boring as hell. It's a shame it's not a premium car because I always play in cockpit view, but I was looking at the new model of the Beetle and found out there's already a "racing" spec one, albeit still front wheel drive, called the Volkswagen Beetle GSR. Love the paint job~
It's specs, unfortunately, are absolutely nothing special. 170 bhp front wheel drive, 1.8L V4 Turbo, 5 speed manual trans with optional (and expensive) dual clutch, and 1333 kg. That's really heavy for a 2 door compact car. It's apparently a limited production run with only 3600, So if nothing else, it'll have novelty. As far as I know, it's not going to be Forza 5 or GT6 so I guess it's left up to my mind to imagine driving it ;n;
And that's all for now. Toodles until next time!

Few things are as awesome as a rogue tank - November 6th, 2013
Thus is my philosophy behind me new Path of Exile character
My Ranger got to Cruel after dying to the final boss about 13 times and my friend's all "You'll never survive anything", but I was all full of spunk and confidence because 1100 dps. Well turns out you have to survive a hit to deal a hit :V
After repeatedly losing the amount of experience I gained while looking for the medicine chest, I decided to just start over with Scion doing the exact same thing but focusing on defense instead of offense. Sure, quadruple digit dps is fun, but I want to be that guy with 95% evade chance with (phase) acrobatics. Only at 67% evasion so far, but I've still got 20 more levels to go until I match my Ranger!
Oh and Software got a bit of a design change since the hiatus, I hope you like her new look! (If you didn't notice, that's a good thing)
If you have no idea what game I've been talking about, check it out on Steam or their official site, it's a fantastic game considering it's free. I like it alot more than Torchlight, but that's just like, my opinion man.
Peace out, yo

BAM BA-LAM - November 5th, 2013
WOAAAAH BLACK BETTY
I beat NFS Underground 2 finally and would be totally okay if I never played it again. Progression is almost as terrible as Most Wanted 2012's, as in there is none. Just race after race after race after race after race after race after race after race after race GAAAAH
EXHIBIT D! Other main thing I was doing that wasn't things like procrastinating, working, girlfriend, etc, was designing a new universe to use for 18+ stuff because honestly I'd prefer to just pry Kitty Komic away from that because anything not in the comic is non-canon but it still has its influence. It's still in its baby stages and really isn't meant for anything near the level KK or CD are meant for, but to tide over the fellas over at FA and such. Though I haven't been there in forever lol. Anyway, yeah, that sums it all up. Once again, sorry for the lack of announcement and updates, but hopefully that's the end of that.
tl;dr COMICS, COMICS EVERYWHERE
P.S. Listen to this Youtube video yo, this guy is awesome

Cars? - November 4th, 2013
I got covered.
Need for Speed is beginning to feel like my guilty pleasure because of how infamous it's becoming, with many people being all "THE LAST GOOD ONE WAS MOST WANTED (2005, not the 2013 one) YOU SUCK", or worse, "THE LAST GOOD ONE WAS UNDERGROUND 2" with the release of Rivals on the horizon. At least I'm probably getting this one for my birthday WEH HEH HEH. I've been playing racing games like crazy lately, learning all the advanced stuff and using manual transmission, which is actually a nice segue into...
EXHIBIT C! The project taking up the 2nd largest chunk of my time next to CD is tentatively called "Speed of Sound" which is badly named even by my standards because no one in the story gets near that speed. A tiny handful of you might recognize this as the contender with CD for KK's successor, but I've decided to shift it from a comic to a game! Yay!
I'd give you a demo but it's little more than a prototype right now lol, I want to get an engine like my favourite SNES racer "Top Gear" but with degree based turning rather than linear formulae. I've dabbled in Game Maker 8 and Unity, but I have no idea how to work Unity and I can't make a 3D model higher res than the N64 days and still be able to animate and texture it effectively ;u;
It's a fairly large scale thing so I don't anticipate to finish any time soon or ever, but it's a fun little thing I've been doing bits and pieces of when I get inspired. The main character drives a green Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14, and in the last fifth or so of the story, adds a Koenigsegg Agera to her garage. Or so I'd like to say, but I don't want to be sued if I ever get a working version out lol. I've been designing and naming a few cars/companies for the universe but car design is alot harder than character design.
It's a story without a clear medium to convey it so it's constantly shifting around in my brain without any sort of real cohesive nature, but I thought I'd share it none the less, because story time is fun and it's the least I can do to at least elaborate on what I've been doing this past half a year or so. Tomorrow will be the last exhibit of the long story though, so sit tight! Story time may be almost over, but the updates certainly are not!
P.S. If you think a Bugatti Veyron Supersport is the fastest car made, you need a smack upside the head
P.P.S. Why are the most amazing things ever stupidly expensive?

Today on News at Noon - November 3rd, 2013
Legendary Watermelon still has a bad memory after more than twenty years
I forgot I had D&D on Saturday so I vouched to do the update in the morning ;u; Sorry there fellas. My gnoll rogue reached the perimeter of the tribe that killed her's so she's eviscerating them all with a passion, so much fun!
And then back to the long story...
EXHIBIT B! A fair number of you I'm sure are already at least aquainted with "Corrupting Darkness", the planned successor to Kitty Komic when the series wraps up. Even got a few "beta" comics over there, I'd tell you to go read them but I'm reconning them shortly and the story I have there is basically completely different aside from the very beginning so I feel no rush to get rid of them when they basically aren't spoiling anything. This is where most of my time has been going because I've been drawing and writing ALOT of it, making sure it's perfect and that I have a very sizeable buffer so I'm not making the same mistakes I did with this comic
If you're one of the ones who has no idea what it is and has never noticed that button on the right sidebar there, no worries, I'm unobservant too. Allow me to summarize what the story and who the characters are, and how I plan to present the comic, and any feedback anyone wishes to give is more than welcome! Now, then... AHEM...
It is a story about a girl from a trading town in the middle of the Isslan Desert in the otherwise tropical country of Felinia. But everything changed when the
Fire Nation attacked Order of Lightia attacked. Due to a bit of cunning, alot of guts, and intervention from a mysterious but skilled old man, this girl, Alishaa Ralsan, is the only one to survive the sudden and one-sided attack, but not without her share of wounds, causing her to lose her right arm and eye. Nursed back to health by the old man but unable to shake the rage inside her, she asks the old man to train her to kill like he did.
Fast forward a bit nyo ho
8 years later Alishaa is a cold, ruthless, and efficient assassin and fighter. As the old man saw her skill develop, he began researching regeneration magic during her training to restore her arm and eye, he eventually formulates a spell that he believes will work just fine. But like all stories, something goes wrong! Alishaa blacks out and awakens in a lush coastal tropic meadow, with her arm and eye restored. Though overjoyed all her limbs are back, it doesn't change the fact she has absolutely no idea how she got to where she is, and becomes even more unsettled as she quickly discovers her new arm has enhanced strength and her eye is able to "see" things it shouldn't, and a quiet but subtle voice whispering to her...
She then sets off an eventually gets tangled up with plots to save the world from profane threats, a world torn by the war that escalated in her absense, questionable allies, and of course, her thirst for revenge.
All in all I'm really excited about it and can't wait to get started on making it public. Though old stuff, you can still read up on Alishaa and Lily, the two main characters of the story if you want to know more about who the story revolves around. The world it's set in is 100% fictional and of my own creation (pleasedontstealiworkedsohardonit) and is mostly populated by anthros so most of you can breathe easy on that. Anyway, I've been typing for a while so I'd better wrap it up and get this live, toodles for now everyone!

Digimon Digital Monsters - November 1st, 2013
Digimon are the champions
Oh good lord get it out of my head why why why did I watch hours of it while EV training my new Flareon with a good movepool. It's just not as good as you remember it from when you were 9
Now then, I said it's a long story that I'd post today, but it's so long I thought I'd split it up over several updates, each one focusing on each aspect, because to those of you who asked, you'd know my usual response was "I've been working on other projects", and since there's about 4 with varying scale, I thought I'd go over one per update so I don't have a wall of text, and my now apparently depricated HTML coding is a pain to do those "Full story behind the break" thing blogs do.
EXHIBIT A! I've been redesigning the site! I originally wanted the completion of this to be when I started updates again, but I thought it wouldn't be fair to keep putting it off for everyone since I'm not exactly in a rush to get it done. Here's what the main page looks like so far, I haven't decided on a good background yet though. Was thinking of a neat meadow skyline maybe. The reason I'm making it look like that is because I'm transforming my site to be about more than just Kitty Komic, because despite the long hiatus, it's still going to end eventually. I'm not a fan of endless stories. And it'd be a little strange for its successor(s) to look like something unrelated!
If you like/hate what you see or just have some input on it you'd care to share, drop me a line on various social media or email, whichever. It's all up there in my contact section. Otherwise I shall continue on my merry way.
For those of you (like me) who hate updating bookmarks when sites go through a transformation because of a content shift, I'll still be keeping the current domain when I get the new domain for this, and it shouldn't break any links that aren't already broken (Though I don't know of any). Let's talk a bit more about the details of the new site before I let you get back to whatever you were up to though.
This design will only apply to the main page and any "neutral" pages, such as comic selection and contact info. It will use the current design you see now on Kitty Komic's section of the site, and it will use an all new design for that "Corrupting Darkness" you hear so much about and its sections. That one still has some bugs to work out and a few more assets to design so it's not ready for a preview yet, but I might fasttrack it along if people are curious. On the update section in the Melon Farm Comics design, you probably noticed that KK icon in the corner. I'll be putting different icons there depending on what the update is about, just incase you want to skip over a neutral news post or a comic/project you aren't interested in. Fun little stuff! Next update I'll be expanding on my new comic's aspirations and what it'll mean for Kitty Komic in the coming months (It's not bad), sit tight and get hyped!

W-WHAT?! - October 31st, 2013
I heard you all thought I was dead. Literally, I got numerous emails asking if I was. It's a long story, which I'll be posting tomorrow evening because I've got months of stories and plans to tell everyone! Of course, there will be another comic tomorrow too. Maybe I could do 7 spooky days, since I've got a buffer now which will last a few
days weeks. But for now, rest easy knowing the hiatus is over, and all sorts of surprises are in store for the days to come!

Free2Race, it says - February 12th, 2013
Free to race one thing ever more like it
I played a bit of RaceRoom Racing Experience before I did this upload because I was all excited to try it because, well, it's a racing game. That's all you need for me to try a game. I like the physics in it, but it's one of those games where you really need a wheel. Usually analog throttle is enough for me in a racing game, but the car bounces just from driving a straight line and the rumble is really weak that you can't really tell when your tires are losing grip and such. Maybe when half the game modes aren't greyed out it'll be a better game. Maybe.
Anywho, not much else to say. I apologize in advance for the (even) slow(er) updates in March, when my 3 preordered games all arrive at almost the same time. Hyperdimension Neptunia V, Tomb Raider, and Monster Hunter 3 U. GONNA BE FUN!

Chuga chuga choo - January 30th, 2013
Avast me hearties!
I don't understand how Euro Truck Simulator 2 has sold so many copies on Steam. There must be a Reddit thread about it. Or maybe people realized that it's friggin awesome. But probably a Reddit thread.
Since I know a some of you like my chubby stuff, have a nice little doodle of a girl in one of my other universes that no one's really seen yet. Ain't she adorbs? Not much else goin on, been a busy but normal January, see you all in the dawn of February!

Pink eye, Far Cry 3, and sodie pop, oh my! - January 11th, 2013
Sorry about the delay, but here's the update!
When I was typing up the 28th's update, my eye was bloodshot, but I didn't think much of it. When I woke up the next morning, I realized it was pink eye, and thus quarantined myself in my room for 5 days, suffering through terrible terrible eye drops
Now, most of you would say "Great! Peace and quiet for you to draw in!", and I'd say "Hahahahaha" and go back to playing Far Cry 3 that I bought during the Steam winter sale. As someone who hates shooters, I have to admit, it's friggin amazing. I love the characters and the story, the landscape and the stealth, the atmosphere and guns, etc. Sure, it's on the cliche side in some respects, but the execution is so well done that I don't even care. Vaas is 2012's villain of the year
Now that I'm done nerding out, time for the arts that I did do! I've been doing lots of CD stuff since I've been writing that alot lately, such as more of those mini comics, about buying dinner, eating dinner, and fighting cannon fodder enemies. And I enjoy drawing those things where you draw what the box tells you to, this one was drawing in all sorts of styles! The Disney one was tough to do right, and I drew the final lines on the wrong layer lol
Anywhoozles, that's all for today. Enjoy the arts while I mosey on into bed to catch delicious Z's before a long day at work tomorrow with D&D adventures right afterward, toodles!
P.S. I now love fighters, 40 AC man. Forty Armour Class.
